Welcome Integrity

Body
Once upon a time begins on this page today. In the 626 lines long poem entitled The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner, Samuel Coleridge , an English poet, tells the tale the Mariner must tell to someone he recognizes to be in need to hear the burden of sin’s effect… until transformed by a gush of love.

Decisions!

by Louise Bishop Oh no, my car had cut out, again. I was on a hill, on a one lane road. It connected my driveway with the highway. Other people, that lived on this road, used it, too. We just watched out, for other cars. Meeting another one, we just waited on them or passed in someone’s driveway. So, I knew a car, could come up behind me, at any moment.

Fincher’s Corner

Body
“After that he poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.” John 13:5 Moving back to East Texas in 1990 fulfilled a fifty year dream that meant….along with other things…that we’d live near Mother again. Our living only 18 miles from her in San Augustine, Texas made it easy to make frequent visits with her in Center. We talked every day on the phone and when she called us, she’d always ask, “Are your beans burning?”

To do list

Body
I was preparing to go on a short trip. We were going out of state, to surprise my grandson, by appearing at his birthday party. Before I left; I had a list of things I wanted to do. Many of them required my going to another town, an hour away.

Fincher’s Corner

When I decided to get a B.A. instead of a B.S. at ETBU, I knew I would have to take a course in some foreign language. And since Greek was the World language when Jesus was born and since our New Testament was originally written in Greek, I decide Greek would be my foreign language choice.

Welcome Integrity

Body
No matter where we are in life, the present moment is the gift we have for a renewal of hearts and minds… to shine our best light, as given to us all in Spirit. Perhaps one of the greatest sadnesses I have experienced is the realization that mindfulness is not always exercised to the fullest.

The Hot Line

Body
by Louise Bishop I noticed that my carport floor, had a problem. I have carpet instead of concrete. I couldn’t afford the concrete for the floor. So, we installed this “poor man’s concrete.” Cast off carpet. Not fit for a house, but perfect for this. It keeps our shoes clean. This, in turn, keeps the car and the house clean. But, now it has a tunnel in one side of it. It is large enough for a small animal to crawl into. I hope it is not one, though. I pulled the carpet over, taking the burrow out. I hope this will fix the problem.
